wearwoolf garments are made from 100% pure Australian Merino wool (although, where noted, some of our lines will have up to 2.5% lycra added for extra resilience). This never fails to amaze anyone who feels or tries on wearwoolf for the first time. It's not that they don't expect it to be soft and light, but the fineness of the material is what most people remark on. The feel of wearwoolf woven cloth can best be compared to quality cotton, rather than to woollen knitwear as most people would know it. That's why kids love to wear it, it's adaptable to being made in a whole range of styles, it's great for printing on, and best of all - it's easy to care for. You can wash it in the machine just like you do with your other clothes. But even though wearwoolf is as versatile as other clothes, it's so much better in so many other ways. It keeps kids warm when it's cold, and comfortable when it's warm. It doesn't retain odour (so you don't need to wash it nearly as often), and it's naturally UV repellent. It doesn't build up static, and wool is a natural fire retardant. Most importantly - it's natural, made from renewable, biodegradable, all-Australian fibre.
